Warty Pumpkins

Last week Jack's class had their first field trip of the year to the pumpkin patch. This was one of the coolest pumpkin patches I've ever been to. It had all kinds of neat types of pumpkins including some that looked a little warty, which was kind of gross but it didn't keep me from bringing one home and displaying it on my fireplace hearth. The kids had so much fun and I plan on going back with Levi and the kids for some better pictures and maybe to pick up a few more bumpy pumpkins.

Jack seemed to always be messing with someone.

It started out cold that morning so I bundled Addie up in her super cute new cardi boots but it warmed up fast. I think I was just looking for an opportunity to stick them on her and I kind of jumped the gun. Oops.

Each kid got to pick out a tiny pumpkin to take home. Jack loved his and treated it like a little pet.

This was so stinkin cute...Addie saw her brother and ran to him and gave him a big hug. Then Rylan wanted in on the hugging and then Landon joined in.
Pretty soon Addie was in the middle of a group hug. She loved every second.

Rylan, Jack and Evan cheesing for my camera while waiting in line for the maze.

Jack took Addie through the maze...well, drug Addie through the maze.

Addie loves doing anything with Jack. Anytime Jack will hold her hand she is on cloud nine.

Jack and Evan being scarecrows.

Addie Grace being a scarecrow too.

Addie loved the little pumpkins and started her own pile on the table to purchase.

I was really impressed with the pumpkin patch and the kids had so much fun. If you are looking for some fun family time Wesley United Methodist has a great pumpkin patch to try!
